Hello Eccentrics,
I have been abandoned in Garstang on my lonesome and so I thought, embrace the alone time and sit at a gorgeous fair-trade café with a raspberry splodge milkshake and a Norwegian waffle with bananas and cream! Naughty, I realise, but very nice!!!
There is an explosion of colourful children outside, playing by the river with crowds of ducks and bluebells in the bright green grass. I love spending time on my own and when it is in such a lovely setting, even better. I have officially finished my job as a waitress and have embraced this week off of freedom and fun!!!
I start my new job as a receptionist next Monday and although I am racked with nerves part of me is excited to join a new family and wear my new, cute as pie, nautical themed clothing. I have gone madddd on my new sailor themed look, that and dungarees which I feel complete me!
The Fig Tree were I am currently sat is an international visitor centre and café, all be it quiet now, I urge you to come and visit Garstang's beacon for fair-trade......mmmmmmm......sorry my waffle just arrived and it looks scrumptious! Other events that I sit here now and look back over this past week have been mine and my best friends into Cancer UK's Race For Life... we are doing it 3-legged and after yesterdays debacle of a practice, I now realise what we have let ourselves in for!!!
So.....that happened and in other news I have finally sold Miss Daisy, my old scooter! Which is rather sad! NO TEARS ECCENTICS...PLEASE!!!! So a busy couple of weeks and I managed to find time for you, my loves! Have a lovely weekend dears!!! I am gonna get some crisps and booze to celebrate FRIDAY!!!!
