The two most popular terms in the world of smoothies and milkshakes are 'shake-away' and 'innocent'. I cannot usually afford to buy the goodness of innocent smoothies, but when, by some fluke of fortune, I can... after spending ages making that all important choice...I do buy the weirdest flavour! There are three bottles I remember the most,
1) Christmas 2007- A shopping spree in Manchester, when my family and I stumbled across a 'food-to-go' style cafe. A wall of innocent smoothies caught my eye, simply because they all had their very own individual bobble hats on. I chose, that day, not based upon flavour but based on the woolen hats colour and bobble. I decided upon a small purple one, with a lilac bobble and 5 small wooden lady bird beads!
2) Summer 2010- The summer of flirting and dancing around a gorgeous guy at work, led me to taking a summery lunch break outside with him. In this instance, I purchased an Innocent Smoothie which came with some 'free bee friendly seeds'. So we planted them on our grassy knoll together.
3) Autumn 2010- My scruffy denim jacket needed some element of customization! As this thought passed me by I noticed a collection of Innocent Smoothies with free button badges. 'Peace One Day'. It has never left my jacket since!
And so, with my second packet of free seeds, I will one day root them out of the bundles of receipts in my purse, to plant them at the bus stop, ready for spring!
