Never before have I been a normal youth and celebrated a Bank holiday weekend, not by doing family things and the traditions of rolling Easter eggs and watching Easter telly but by rockin hard to good music, dancing till my feet hurt and drinking til I see blurry colours!!! It began on Friday, after a 10 hour shift it was off to the Boot 'n' Shoe were we were greeted by drunken youths, the smell of sweat and a great singer on his guitar. It was going well and I hadn't embarrassed myself yet until someone said lets get the shots in......this could only end one way and being me I yelled, "I'm Game!!!!" A phrase I hope never to utter again! So more and more shots were consumed and then the dancing began.......I kid you not, Status Quo rockin all over the world and I looked like this....
Oh yessss! So as the celebrations continued and the dancing got out of hand we got word of a house party round the corner.....I think what happened at this party should remain private due to the privacy of others......all that I can tell you is there was dancing, failed bumper cars game, My friend crawling round on her hands and knees, pizza, booze, alcohol, drink, beverages, libations and I befriended a cat called Horatio! Who knew? A 4am stroll back to my place is surely the sign of a good night!
Saturday: I paid for the prior night at a great expense, nuff said!
Sunday: Happy Easter! and it is taking its toll, fell asleep in church, fell asleep whilst watching telly....kept falling asleep in general! But Hey! That didn't stop us Easter Chickies getting dressed up to the nines and going into Poulton for a bank holiday drinking sesh! I haven't been clubbing since October last year and hell did I miss it...all those sweaty youths and getting crushed on the dance floor, not being able to order a drink, bumping into people you used to know and getting your bum pinched by guys who think they have a shot! There was live music everywhere and sh*t music in cube! No really it was as if this guy was searching his playlist and picked the one that WAS hot about a year ago, but hey, we danced anyway! Got drunk....again! and got takeaway!!! I have never giggled so hysterically has I have in that one night and this morning (or should I say this afternoon) has been a case of, "What were we laughing at so hard?"
Surprisingly though I don't feel that rough, but then again it is only 1.30.....I have time yet!
But right now all that I am looking forward to is a hot shower, some cozy clothes, slippers, salted toast and Easter eggs, telly and Sunday Roast this evening for tea....and more drink!!! Happy Easter to you all and I hope your Easter celebrations where as fabulous as mine!
