The rain may have been threatening today but I still braved it and slipped on my Greeny button heels to go shopping. Wandering round the outlet park I caused many a head to turn in my yellow & purple, floral vintage dress, lilac, floral cardigan, bare legs, bright shoes and a huge sunflower umberella. Considering that the majority of folks were in jeans and waterproof macs, this is understandable.
I have plotted and planned for my birthday in a months time to save up any money kindly given, for a notebook sized laptop. This way, my valued blogging can come with me wherever I go. In this case, I needed the perfectly sized handbag to a) carry my new laptop, b) carry my camera, notebook and sketchpad and c) be easily customizable...and I stumbled across the perfect one.
Whilst we darted in and out of shops to avoid the rainfall, I stocked up on art supplies and canvases for my new collection of paintings. I managed to get a commission (all-be-it from my mum, but she is also an artist and crafter, so it means alot that she wants me to do her a painting)
To warm our hearts we went for lunch at costa, where we indulged in the "healthy" bannana and pecan breakfast loaf and some lovely hot drinks, a vanilla latte for me and a cappucino for mum.
I am now engrossed in some serious blog work, research, photo alteration and Bob Dylan tunage (another lucky find) Brilliant for a Rainy Day
