You will all be aware of my current reading (Dr.Dales Zombie Dictionary- The A-Z Guide To Staying Alive) and it got me thinking that when this does happen (and it will) We are gonna need a damn good playlist on our I-pods to get ourselves through it! So here goes...
1. Invaders Must Die- Prodigy: Perfect title for the events to come, the way it builds you can just see yourself sat in your "safe house" with your spade/sword/gun/chainsaw/large stick getting psyched up to go bludgeon some zombies.
2.No More Heroes- The Stranglers: You may get to the door, about to head out to kick some Zombie ass and you may think, who is there to save us? This song will kick your butt into action...because it really is every man for himself!
3.The Saints Are Coming- The Skids: marching down the street to this tune and compared to the risen dead, you ARE the saints and you ARE coming in...BRING IT ON!!!
4.Babylon's Burning- The Ruts: You will be anxious but this is your song for your first zombie defeated! Remember...aim for the head!
5.Where's Your Head at- 2many DJs: The live version has this moment of clapping (for your successful victory against the Zombie you hopefully just killed) the silence were you can breath and then the build up, for you to move as fast as you can through the hoard of the undead (literally this song is brill for this situation, as you should be knocking a lot of zombie heads to the ground!)
6. Run with the Wolves- Prodigy:...for the running obviously!
7.Nothing Compares to You- Sinead O'Connor: This is purely optional, but I thought I better put it on for those who have to deal with the loss of a loved one...for they have been brutally bitten and turned into the undead! You are allowed this track time to mourn them!
8.World's on Fire- (again...) Prodigy: they are the ultimate band for any situation involving death, destruction and zombies...plus the world may be on fire!
9.Take me to the Hospital- Prodigy: again...this is optional, for you may not need to scream the words, "Take...me..to...the...Hospital...Hospital!" But you most likely will!
