...alas I speak of the dreaded results day. A day that ruins so many peoples lives, whether it be because of an epic fail, or ok results but a boasting friend or fantastic results but unimpressed mother. We all hate it! But here are my easy steps of how to cope!
- chill out the night before, don't do study if you can avoid it. Watch a film (preferably a comedy)
- Keep calm and carry on! If you don't get the desired results try and stay positive. Of course you are allowed a little cry and a little period of glumness, but don't drag it out. What is done is done and you cannot change it.
- On the keep positive note, take yourself to the exams office and pick up the necessary re-sit forms to get the grades you want.
- Treat it as a learning curve, aim to get organised, to do the study and get the amazing grades you want next time.
- At the end of the day, they are your results, not your mothers, your fathers or your friends and you are the only one that can change them!!!!!
