Children should be children!

Little kids that are wearing t-shirts with the words, 'kid with attitude' on or 'whatever!' It is truly heart breaking! This is the world that we live in though! Children aged 7 or 8 will no doubtedly have attitude and speak like they are one of the Mary-Kate and Ashley twins! Aged 9, female and wearing a mini skirt...It really gets to me. Children should wear corduroy trousers that have been patched up at the knees from where they fell over. Rainbow jumpers that are unravelling at the cuffs because they have been chewed. Colourful tops with a ribena stain on the front. Scuffed shoes and grass stained white socks. Their hair should start the day neatly brushed and end the day a fluffy mess. They should have dirty fingernails not painted or manicured ones. They should enjoy that they cannot have their ears pierced yet and experiment with clip-on earrings. They should be wearing jelly sandals and plastic princess shoes...not stilettos. They should be children!
