Alas I am back at the keyboard....clattering away on the heavy grey keys.....I could begin with all the spiel of why I was not here being eccentric and rambling on about some inane topic, but I shall not humour you in that way instead I shall jump straight to this months breaking news topics for rambling Rach!!!
NEWS...
I am now doing something very good and honest with my free time and I volunteer down at the Village Centre. I love it! If you have ever seen Jam and Jerusalem, the BBC series (if not, GET ON THE CASE!!!) it resembles what we do here at the Centre. You have to like brews and have the key ability to natter about all manner of things (This blog proves the latter!) I toddle down every Monday and make bright happy posters for the classes, chat about the weather to OAP'S on the reception desk and brew up. I have however recently been promoted to learning the invoice account and more importantly taking care of the biscuit basket! It is a joy to give my time freely to help out and bring life and youth to the centre!
BREAKING NEWS....
On Friday last week, I recieved a job offer!!! I have been job hunting since August last year and it has even gone as far as coming between me, my blogging and you lovely lot! I finally have the brighter future as a Receptionist at the local college! Just up my street, mad typing skills and a chatty, bright personality....the fundamental ability to talk to anyone! Pat on the back for me....I have a feeling after todays volunteering that a visit to the bakery is needed to purchace celebratory cream cakes for this afternoons craft club!!!
BREAKING BREAKING NEWS.....
19 days left til I go and see P!NK at the M.E.N Arena in Manchester with my friends. The tickets arrived last week and word of mouth says they resemble Willy Wonka's own fine Golden tickets. Oh the excitement! Bit of a mini break in Manchester for music, shopping, booze and good food!!!
NEWS-SO-BROKEN-THAT-EVEN-A-PRITT-STICK-AND-STICKY-TAPE-WON'T-FIX-IT!!!!
Heard of a little something called T in the Park..... well I am only GOING to it in JULY!!!! Here is a list of my friends who will also be there, Mumford and Sons, Rihanna, The Killers, Chase and Status, Emeli Sande, Snoop Gogg, Dizee Rascal, Calvin Harris, The Lumineers, Paloma Faith, Noah and The Whale, Stereophonics, Tom Odell, Daughter, Haim and hundreds more....I told them that they won't all fit in my teepee!!! Alternative accomadation will simply have to be sorted!!! EEEEP SO EXCITED!!!
