The Wedding of River Song

(DOCTOR WHO FANS WHO HAVE SEEN THE FINALE OF THE SERIES) I am still buzzing from that episode...the brilliance...the pure brilliance that went into making such a masterpiece of BBC drama!!! I am awestruck!!! I knew deep down that it wasn't the end, how could it be? For the Doctor who has a supposed maximum of 13 regenerations up his tweed sleeve and has only managed 11! Everyone said it was the end but I knew it couldn't be. He is too clever and just too quick for death to catch him up. As soon as the episode began and showed a recap of the previous episodes (the important bits) it showed 'Lets Kill Hitler' with the Teselector (sp?) and I thought to myself..."wouldn't it be just pure brilliance if the Doctor sent a robot version of himself to die at the Lake in Utah? but could he really get away with that? and is that even plausible?" Turns out it was! And that point where the teselector asked if it could do anything else for him and the Doctor said no....He would never say no!

My favourite part was the wedding of River Song, the kiss which showed his "death" and the movement of time. The power and immensity, that the whole of time rested upon The Doctor and River touching. The beauty that their marriage is one of status for as River knows this great "spoiler" and gets to travel backwards along the Doctor's timestream, seeing him younger and younger...and he moves on, or does he? Will River make another appearance? will Amy and Rory? Are we really putting to sleep the story of the Doctor's wife? Melody Pond. I don't think so...this is only the beginning of brilliant and clever writing from Steven Moffat, well-thought out plot lines and whole abundance of adventrures for the Doctor and his companion...another life he will change? Or the same one?
