I have returned...
...at long last!!!! The summer is officially over and we can be sure of this by looking out of the windows and seeing the wind blowing through the trees, the gray sky which threatens to unleash a horrific downpour at any second and also that everyone is starting to wrap up warm. Duvet days are a must and I have had plenty of them! Curling up infront of our homes log fire, in your pajamas with a good book, cup of tea or soup and as a preference, my cat by my side. He snores gently and the fire crackles and spits. The air is filled with the warm smell of fire wood and sometimes a pungent one of creosote. I am reading Jodi Piccoult- Songs of the humpback whale and it has inspired me to research whale songs. My boyfriend lent me a film that has gone straight to my ultimate top five- Whale rider! A must see film, about culture and history of Maori tribes and differences within families. I cannot wait for winter, when it is OK to lie in for half the day because it is the warmest place to be and we can get wrapped up warm in many wool layers and go for walks in a crisp, frosty atmosphere, bliss!
